This Continuing Education intensive is especially devoted to exploring postures, sequences, and essential information for women of all ages in the practice of yoga. We will first look at the physical and emotional anatomy of women and then move into yoga as a remedy for menstrual problems, pregnancy, depression, menopause symptoms and more. In addition to yoga asana, we will also explore Ayurvedic and natural remedies such as herbal medicines and salves. By connecting with our cycles, we will explore what types of activities, foods, and movements are best for us in each moment. We learn how to organize our daily lives to be in greater harmony with our natural monthly cycle and discover empowerment through syncing up with the inner superpowers provided by each phase of the moon cycle.. We are not able to heal or prevent illness or injury with yoga alone, and so we dive into full lifestyle changes that can benefit each of us individually and uniquely. You will leave this course with clear steps to enhance your health and life in a holistic way.
