Join us for a nourishing weekend retreat at beautiful Seven Springs, as we explore the ancient art of herbalism and ground ourselves through yoga and meditation. This herbal medicine immersion is designed to connect you with plants as allies and empower you to start using them to heal your own body, your family, and your community.  


The workshop curriculum for this training will include the following:
  • Morning yoga asana and meditation class
  • Intro to Herbal Actions
  • Herbal Tonics for strengthening the entire body
  • Herbs for Stress & Nervous System Issues
  • Herbs for Immune Support
  • Plant Meditations
  • Plant Walks
  • Herbal Medicine Making 101 (including tinctures, teas, salves, herbal vinegars, syrups, and more)

In addition everyone will have the opportunity to make and take home several of their own herbal products to jump start their own home apothecary. This workshop is suited for both the beginner herbalist and yogi, as well as those with more experience. ​​
Rachel Milford is a Knoxville-based herbalist, wellness educator, and artist.  She has been working with plants for over a decade and has had the privilege of studying under many amazing community herbalists during this time, including Suki Roth (Herb Haven- Graham, NC). Through her business Reclaiming Your Roots, she offers classes about herbal medicine and natural healing, as well as grows and sells a variety of herbal teas, salves, and other herbal products.
