Shared or Private Yurts

“I can't say enough about this stay. It was so beautiful and the hosts were exceptional. The yurt was extremely comfortable, the kitchen and bathrooms were wonderful. We felt right at home. We traveled with our two boys (11 and 13) and they also commented on how great the place was. Thank you Jessi and Zach for sharing a piece of your peace with us!”

Gathering Spaces

Outdoor Kitchen

We believe some of the best meals are prepared outdoors.

Our retreats feature nourishing farm-to-table vegetarian meals enjoyed together in this shared space.

Yoga Shala

Designed and built by Jessi’s father, our open-air yoga shala stands 16 feet tall with a 28-foot diameter, supported by cedar tree poles harvested from the surrounding forest.

From the shala, you can enjoy:

  • Early morning light filtering through the trees

  • Fresh mountain air during practice

  • Sweeping views of the Chilhowee Mountains

It is a space designed for movement, meditation, and connection.

Massage Pavilion

Perched on a quiet hill near the yoga shala, the massage pavilion offers a peaceful setting for bodywork and relaxation.

Guests may book sessions with our massage therapists and enjoy treatments surrounded by fresh air and forest views.

The Springs

Drink from the Earth. Rest by the Water.

Seven Springs takes its name from what first drew this family to the land. Across 128 acres of Tennessee foothills, natural springs rise from the ground fed by rain falling on ridgelines we own all the way to the top. Nothing touches this water before it reaches you.

The creek begins deep in the hollow, wrapped by steep wooded ridges, ancient hardwoods, and wildflowers. Song birds and vibrant wildlife fill the hollow. The sound of gentle water over stone does something to a nervous system that has been running too hard for too long.

Come sit. Fill your bottle straight from the spring. Bring a journal or nothing at all. For those called to go deeper, the water also holds space for sound healing, guided ceremonies, and quiet contemplation

Places of Reflection

The Labyrinth

Our classical 7-circuit labyrinth sits within a natural clearing beneath a beautiful old elm tree. Designed by our dear friend Danny Lindsay, this labyrinth was built by our community and has been transformational for hundreds of people over the years.

Labyrinth walking is an ancient meditative practice used for contemplation, prayer, and reflection. Whether walked slowly in silence or explored playfully, it invites you to move inward and reconnect with yourself.

Fire Circle

Our stone fire circle is a natural gathering place at the heart of the land. Built with large local stones and nestled at the edge of the forest, it offers a warm and welcoming space for evening reflection and connection.

Many retreats gather here for fireside circles, storytelling, music, and ceremony. As the sun sets behind the trees and the fire dances, the circle becomes a place where community forms easily and conversations deepen.

Wood-Fired Sauna

Tucked into the forest just beyond the fire circle, our wood-fired cedar barrel sauna offers a deeply restorative way to unwind after a day of practice, hiking, or time in nature.

Heated by a traditional wood stove, the sauna encourages the body to relax, release tension, and restore balance. Science has recently proven the power of this ancestral practice. Guests often enjoy alternating between the heat of the sauna and the cool mountain air outside, a simple ritual that awakens the senses and supports circulation.

The Chakra Meditation Walk

A Self-Guided Journey Back to Yourself

The walk begins at the source of the creek, a spring seeping from the earth deep in the hollow. This is the root chakra station, marked by a Tibetan Buddhist shrine and a vase ceremonially buried in the ground. A fitting place to start: at the origin of water, at the base of everything.

From here the path winds across the full property through meadow and forest, open sky and dense canopy. Each of the seven stations is hand-painted and naturally placed, with seating where you can rest to follow the meditation prompts in your trail brochure. Plan for one to two unhurried hours.

At the sixth station, a hilltop overlook opens around a grandmother cedar tree. The walk ends at the labyrinth, the crown chakra, where a single winding path carries you inward and back out again.

Pick up your trail brochure at the retreat center. Fill your bottle at the spring on the way in.

Forest Bathing

The forest surrounding Seven Springs invites you to slow down and reconnect with the natural world through the practice of forest bathing.

Rather than hiking with a destination in mind, forest bathing is about moving gently through the woods with awareness andtaking in the textures, sounds, and subtle rhythms of the land. Along quiet trails and beneath a canopy of old hardwood trees, Forest Bathing encourages you to pause, breathe deeply, and allow the nervous system to settle.

Whether walking slowly along the creek, sitting beneath the trees, or simply listening to the wind through the leaves, this simple practice offers a powerful way to restore balance and deepen your connection with nature.

"STAY HERE! For the love of nature and community get yourself some Seven Springs! Maybe we shouldn’t tell you how amazing it is, how serene the property is, how beautiful the furnishings are, because if you’re all there then there may not be space for us to come back BUT we will tell ya. There is something to be said about people who create such a place as this and decide to share it with everyone. All we can say is thank you and save a yurt for us We give this place Seven Chakras!"
