Rebekah Luhrs:
Teaching and practicing yoga is a lifestyle that allows me to grow both physically and spiritually. I have been practicing for over ten years and in 2011 discovered AcroYoga. I quickly realized that the acro practice is one that empowers positive growth in individuals, relationships, and communities. Choosing to enter into partnership, we explore what it means to trust, communicate, and support others, allowing for deeper openings, connections, and sense of community. I completed my 200-hour Yoga Teacher Certification Training at the Asheville Yoga Center in North Carolina and have been teaching ArcoYoga workshops and classes internationally since 2014. Currently, I am the founder of and lead instructor for AcroKnox in Knoxville and also assist in coordinating the Knoxville Acro Jam. |
Frank Genovise Bio:
Practicing yoga for over seven years, I enjoy the physical and mental aspects of the practice that allow me to slow down, center, and ground. I find that yoga allows me to balance out the other activities I enjoy, such as hiking, rock climbing, and mountaineering. I have practiced AcroYoga on and off with Rebekah since 2014 and began co-teaching AcroYoga classes with her in October 2016. |
