Staying connected while staying healthy in these challenging times...
We are watching how the new COVID landscape evolves and continue to carefully follow the Yoga Alliance and CDC recommendations for Yoga Studios and Retreats in Tennessee. Seven Springs is mostly outdoors, so we have the advantage of great natural ventilation! Still, we will ask you to abide by the following guidelines in order to keep yourself and all our guests safe in these challenging times:
If you haven't been vaccinated you are welcome to come if you get a negative test in the three days prior to the event. We are not going to ask you to show your negative test to everyone, but will trust people to be honest about being tested.
If you have been vaccinated, you are welcome to come without a test if your first vaccine is a month in or two weeks for J&J.
For everyone, we ask that you be free of symptoms and to exclude yourself if you have symptoms.
For everyone, we ask you to get tested if have been knowingly exposed in the ten days prior to anyone who has COVID.
For those who are vaccinated, but in the week prior to the event have been indoors in close proximity to 10 or more people who are not vaccinated, we ask that you get a test. Statistically you are of higher risk and may infect others at the event who are not vaccinated
None of this is perfect and we don't enjoy having to be so prescriptive, but our primary concern has always been to make a safe and nurturing space for healing. This conversation will continue to evolve, but hopefully this new thinking will allow others to join who wish to.
If you are joining a retreat or course we will be taking these additional precautions:
Participants will be assigned a mat, set of blocks and strap for the duration of the course (you can bring your own of course as well)
We will have hand sanitizer available, and cleaning products in the bathroom so all can wipe down on a regular basis after use. We will assign everyone their own towels (no communal towels).
We have the option to sit in our dining area and classroom at a 6 foot distance. We have added more dining space to accommodate this. We will also be plating all food rather than offering food buffet style.
Our center is not open to the public on a daily basis, so the only others on the land are the chef and our family living in a separate house.
If you are creating your own experience:
We invite you to follow these policies as much as applies to your individual experience or group experience.
We welcome new and creative ways to stay connected and also healthy in these times!
We see this land as a little haven of connection and solitude, disconnecting to reconnect with our inner light, to rejuvenate and cultivate how we wish to share our light in this world that needs it so much.
